Summer Review '07!

What a summer! It's hard to believe it's almost over. Pretty soon I'll be starting Kindergarden. Earlier this summer, Mom & Dad were talking a lot about how they couldn't believe I'd be starting school already. They sounded almost sad. For some reason, their tone certainly has changed lately.
It sure has been a hot summer! There wasn't much to do. A five-year-old can only color, draw & watch Spongebob Squarepants so long before cabin fever sets in.My brother Atticus, on the other hand, could watch Spongebob 'til his eyes fall out.Ayden passed the days away reading comic books as well. I can't wait 'til I can read better.

Finally, we couldn't take it anymore, so we ventured outside for awhile. Mom & Dad said the heat wasn't too bad. On what started out as a very sad day, something really cool happened! When I was nine months old, I taught myself how to walk. When I was eighteen months old, I potty trained myself. Well, yesterday, after just a few tries and with no help keeping myself steady, I taught myself to ride a bike without training wheels!
Needless to say, I think Ayden was impressed.Bye-bye!

A Day at the Park

Hi, everybody!
A couple of weeks ago the weather got nice enough for Daddy to take my big brother Ayden and me to the park. And of course where Daddy goes, his camera goes too.
We were just a couple of monkies playin' on the monkey bars.
"Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. Better, stronger, dorkier. It's the six-million-dollar dork!"
Here's Ayden on the way back from going potty.
Here's Ayden doing his best t-rex impression, but if you ask me, he looks like a kangaroo.
"Look, up in the sky, it's a bird, it's a plane, it's...no, it's a cloud that looks like a horse."
After awhile, we got tired of the bars and took to the swings.
Bye-bye!

First Post of '07!

Has it really been eight months since my last post?! Well, in that case, I have no choice but to post a whole bunch of pictures of everyday life around this nut house that I live in.

First up, there's Atticus. What can you say about the lil' dork? Daddy says Atticus is his favorite because he don't talk back.
Here's Toad's best friend and sparring partner Kyan, whom daddy suspects was separated at birth with his long-lost brother Curious George.
Here's daddy with Toad, the comic book geek he's always wanted. The boy lives, eats & breathes Spiderman & Superman! And here's mommy with Atticus! Mommy's so pretty!
Here's my big brother Ayden the Scientist diggin' for dinosaur bones.
He sure has come a long way since this picture here! This was a wallpaper daddy made a few years ago. I'm sensing a theme running through this family.
Here I am earnin' my keep doing some dishes.
Well, that's it for this post. It's time for one of my favorite lunches, a cup of Ramen Noodles! I like everything but the peas!
See ya!

Happy Birthday, Evan

Happy Birthday, Even.
You were my favorite cousin and I miss you very much.
We all do.
I hope you and Sissy aren't driving God too crazy.

My First Day of Pre-School!

And then came the day Daddy's been dreading for almost five years! My first day of pre-school! My morning started off with a new dress and a new doo while I watched Arthur. My big brother Ayden helped me pick out the right kind of toys to take with me to school (he's a pro at it), then it was a quick picture of us and I was out the door! When Mommy and me got to school, we had to wait outside a little bit.Daddy says if it wasn't for Atticus, he woulda gone crazy while I was away. Him and Toad played "superheroes." Here he is as "Robin the Boy Wonder!"
Once inside, we lined up and marched off to our class room!
Here I am getting my very own nametag.
Mommy took this picture of me on her way out. That's me waaaaay back there!
We had a lot of fun my first day. Circle Time was my favorite. We learned about the Callendar and sang the Days of the Week song!
On the way home, I had an apple. I like green ones because they're sour.
And finally, much to Daddy's relief, I came home!Relaz, Dad. I only got fourteen more years of this.
Bye-bye!

At Last!

Well, it's been a busy couple of months for this particular four-year-old. It's been, like, forever since daddy posted anything for my droves of adoring fans, so here goes.
First up, a picture of me admiring myself. Yeah, I'm so darn cute that even I have to stop, admire myself and say, "Gosh, I'm so darn cute!"
My dorky big brother Ayden and me got Mickey Mouse ears when Gramma Becky went to Disney World awhile back.
Yesterday was Ayden's Earth Day Program at school and daddy was there with camera in hand. I don't know much, but somehow celebrating Earth Day and recycling by drinking punch from plastic cups just seems a little ironic. Yeah, I don't know much, but I know what ironic means. Ironic, huh?

Well, that pretty much wraps things up for this week. Hopefully it won't be so long between updates. See you soon!
