Birthday Girl!

Happy birthday to me!
Yesterday was my birthday party!
I'm four years old now and let me tell you, the older you get, the tougher life gets! Mommy and daddy told me that since I was big girl, I couldn't have a binki anymore. Somebody needs to put a warning label on those things!
My cake was awesome!

Here I am sleepin', totally unaware of what was waiting for me when I'm wake up...

Surprise! It's a new bike! Unfortunately, the weather sucked, so it was a quick ride around the sidewalk and back in the house we went!
My brother Ayden was excited about the ribbon. Sometimes I wonder about that boy...

CinderArlaux! CinderArlaux! Night & day it's CinderArlaux...
This is me in my party dress, which even lights up!

Let's eat! Sloppy Joes & potato chips!

Let 'em eat cake!

Even Atticus got in on the fun!

Grandma Arline, Erica, Ayden & me pose for a picture.

Here's Erica & her mommy Kirstie.

Granda Harold gave me four bucks for my birthday! One for each year! I can't wait till I'm thirty...

Me & Dee at present time!

Me & Grammajean!

It's a family thing!
It was a good day all around...

Ayden's Big Day!

What kind of little sister would I be if I didn't tell you a little something about the boy who hung the moon. I am, of course, referring to my big brother Ayden. He's my best friend, even if he is a butt-head.

This is Ayden on his first-ever day of Kindergarden, enjoying a hearty breakfast of doughnuts. We think Ayden was born into a family of apes and switched at birth. He pretty much runs around the house all day in little more than his underwear.

Here he is all dressed up, nametag and all, like he's really something.

Me, Ayden & our friend Erica (and Erica's cousin whose name I forget) all pose for a picture outside our house before going to the bus stop with mommy & daddy.

Ayden waited eagerly for the bus. He's an old pro at riding the bus since he'd already been to preschool. But now he's in the big league.
(Notice the patented Superman forelock curl)

Here's Ayden on the bus. Mommy dove after him with the camera to get this picture. How many times do you get to take a picture of your son's first bus ride to Kindergarden, right?

Of course, even though Ayden can be a pain in the butt sometimes, he's still my big brother and I missed him terribly as soon as the bus pulled away.

And then finally, after what seemed like all day, Ayden was home from school! I was napping at the time and missed it, but we all heard all about it the rest of the day.

Ayden was even escourted off the bus by our cousin Britt and her friend Brooke. Yeah, I know what you're thinkin'. My brother's a player.

And there you have it! Ayden's big day! Only a couple thousand or so to go until it's off to college.

THE END...

Three Dorks

Nothing exciting this time, just me and my dorky brothers hangin' out, watchin' TV & driving mom crazy. If you ask me, Ayden must've had something real interesting stuck to his sock to get his and Atticus's attention. Then again, being boys, it could've been anything. Plus, I forgot to put my glasses on, so we all three were seein' things.
