Merry Christmas!

Daddy says "To Hell with the atheists, Merry Christmas," and I'm not sure what he means, but if it means believing in Santa, then, to Hell with the atheists, Merry Christmas!
Here's some pictures from our Christmas morning:

It started with a Christmas Booty that magic morning!
Mommy played Santa this year. My brother Avery looks for more presents, but i'm happy with what I got.
I don't get to see my big brother much. He's a good boy!Speaking of good boys, here's Atticus and mommy.
They call him "The Good One," but don't ask me why. He's as rotten as the rest of us!Daddy got a big Batman guy which he later used to chase Atticus right out of his pants!Speaking of Batman, now Ayden gets to be Robin the dork wonder! One of mommy's really cool presents!Every time we ask daddy why there's only one blue light on our tree he always tells us one day mommy will explain it. There's a little picture next to the tree and a poem mommy wrote in it that says:

Although small in appearance
the significance barely fits
on the pedestal in
which it rests.
Embraced in white and silver
as if an angel was looking out
from within.
One unique distinction from all
the others shines
brighter in blue,
not in sadness but
in a special memory
known only unto me.

Merry Christmas and see you soon!

Happy Birthday, Mommy!

When I turned four, mommy and daddy made a big deal about it and said I was too big for my binky.
Well, this year mommy turned something called "The Big Three Oh," and while I don't know what that means, it seemed like a pretty big deal. Here are some pictures from the surprise party ...
Here's mommy and daddy getting back with mommy new van. It was a birthday present from Grandma Becky.
Happy Birthday, Mommy! Daddy brought mommy into an ambush of friends and family. That's Toad in the highchair and Kristie in the foreground.
Erica made mommy a birthday crown!
Here's Dwayne reading all the signatures on mommy's cast before he signed it.Here's my friend Erica and her mommy Kristie.
Earlier that day, at Ayden's school, it was pajama day, so Dee got to wear his pajamas to school. Mommy and daddy let him wear his PJs all day when he got home.
Here I am dancin'.Here's Atticus enjoying a cuppy in all the confusion.
And here's mommy and Kristie getting crazy with the whipcream.
And they won't let me eat peanut butter right out of the jar! Go figure.
Here I am making everybody nervous when I do the splits.
Atticus and daddy look on in shock and awe!"Spirit fingers!"Mommy, Dee, Kristie and my good friend Daniel enjoying some cake!

Creative Day!

The other day, daddy and me had some time together so I felt like being creative. Daddy got me some paper and some markers and I was sure to explain every step of the process.

And, viola, the finished product!

Meet My Friend Daniel!

It's hard to believe I wasn't even two last time I saw my friend Daniel! Time sure flies when you're growin' up as fast as me. I seem to remember him with a lot more hair, though! Daniel came all the way from Sweden (where they make Volvos, Ikea furniture and the best chocolate ever) just to visit us.

This is me and Daniel having Wendy's for lunch, proving Americans do eat hamburgers every day!

Here's Daniel with my friend and neighbor Erika who had a homework asignment to interview someone from or write about another country. After five riviting, in-depth questions, they took this picture just to prove she wasn't making him up. Did you know Swedish people watch Donald Duck cartoons while they wait for Santa to show up? What a country!

And here's Daniel the morning after his first visit. He and daddy stayed up all night and I let him use my blanket. What are friends for, right?

Daddy says he does this a lot.

You can click here and see some highlights from Daniel's last visit.

And if you don't believe me about the whole "hair" thing, here's a picture from his last visit. He and I spent that morning out on the stoop just talkin' about life.

See you soon!

A Night of Dancing

Just a typical day around the house, watching a few 'toons on TV.
Daddy has a way of catching me at my most glamourous.

Later that night, Atticus and me decided to get down and boogie.
It's all about not caring and letting your hair down, or in my case, up.
Here's Toad gettin' jiggy with it.
That boy's got a drummer of his own, that's for sure.
Daddy doesn't have the market cornered on embarrasing photos.
Mommy snuck this one in after the evening's dancing wore me out.
Daddy says I inherited this sleeping style from Grandpa Harold.
